ROF 1005 Red Savina© Habanero Shipped in double sealed packs of 40 grams of 100% Crushed Red Savina Habanero pepper.  More than 1200 grams of fresh Red Savina peppers are required to make just 100 grams of dried pepper. We have found crushed pepper is perfect for use in pepper grinders or mills like the Minimill or the Maximill. You can also use it in your own  pepper mill. It is not recommended that you spoon or shake this pepper on your foods, the heat is hard to control without a mill of some kind.  Red Savina has a different flavor profile than the Bhut jolokia and is a must for your pepper collection. Before the Bhut jolokia became the new record holder, the Red Savina was listed in the Guinness Book of Records' as "Hottest Pepper on Earth" Scoville Rated at over 577,000 Heat Units.
