Indian PC-1 hot pepper, PC-1 pepper, Indian hot pepper, curry pepper, Capsicum  annuam The PC-1 designation was applied by Indian military researchers who were looking for the hottest chile extracts to make pepper sprays and powders for riot control. The Indian PC-1 is a capsicum annuum.

Indian PC-1 hot pepper for curry and asian foods. Several years ago, the PC-1 was rumored to be India's hottest cultivated pepper.  This was proven incorrect and it was found that PC-1, test grown in New Mexico, measured just under 100,000 SHU. This puts it in the border heat range between Thai and Habanero, plenty hot enough to get your attention.


Asian and Chinese hot pepper pc-1, Indian pc-1 for chinese dishes Hotter than the Aji Limon, not nearly as hot as the Red Savina or Bhut Jolokia. The PC-1 has a different flavor profile which makes it a perfect addition to a variety of cooking styles. Great used with Mexican, Thai, Oriental or Indian dishes.
